I have a bit of an issue and I was hoping someone here could help out. My knife is very much off center and when I adjust the pivot I can get it centered but then the blade becomes loose. Is there anything I can do to fix this or does it have to be sent back toZT? This is a work knife so being without it for 5 weeks would suck. It normally wouldnt bother me, hell I sold a Strider SMF to get this and they are notorious for being off center. My issue is it about rubbing the side of the blade.

How about loctite or are you saying for the blade to be centered the pivot has to be loose?

You could try completely disassembling the knife and reassembling it. Sometimes a liner/scale can be slid ever so slightly up or down and make the blade go off center. If that doesnt help and you send it in YMMV but I had 2 occasions where I sent in 2 ZTs in for service and got them back in a little less than 2 weeks.

Sometimes when I'm working with mine the pivot will not be completely seated on the ti side causing the same problem. Also, try and make sure that the liner is seated on the pivot post completely. I would also do adjustments to pivot in small increments while blade is in open position and then check for centering. This will help you adjust without linerlock pressure.

I will give all of the above a try. Rycen, in order for the blade to be centered the pivot has to be adjusted and it causes it to be loose. It can't be centered without causing the blade to be loose.
