Every detail about the 0301 is excellent. Just finished this one for a customer:

That's pretty amazing. I never went to that level of fineness when doing metallography as an undergrad (grain size analysis, microstructural examination) . How long does it take for you to do the process? Does the recurve add substantially to the complexity?

It took about 30 minutes total; I was being fairly picky about the finest of scratches. The recurve didn't cause any difficulty, the stones just slid along nicely. The Shaptons I was using are 0.625" wide (cut for me by Ken at Precise Sharpening) and fit easily inside the radius of the inside curve. The strops are are standard 0.75" WE strops and also fit nicely in the curves.

How much do you charge for sharpening? Looks and sounds great!

Those are good numbers. I've never gone beyond a 5 stone Lansky set (usually kitchen knives). I knew I'd need special stuff for recurves.

That's awesome! :) I never knew you were from Santa Fe! Is that where the WEPS is produced and/or distributed from? I'm from Albuquerque, born and raised. Although I've been living in Las Vegas for the past few years. Very interesting if the Wicked Edge is from Santa Fe!
