I always -at a minimum- keep my head covered, it can be hard to find protection large enough for the whole "Enchilada".


When I ride a new trail I don't like the prospects of my head unprotected in some bush I don't know. If the ride looks nasty or real dirty I cover up more and most often I have on a thicker layer.
