Here is a Big Fish filet knife. The idea was to make it float...It sinks slowly. The problem I think is that when the handle slabs were epoxied and clamped the cork was compressed taking away the corks ability to float. Any ideas are welcome on improvements. I'd like to stick with a full tang design. Here are the specs.
D2 steel at 60Rc
Flat/convex grind, convex edge
Mirror finish
13" OAL
7 7/8" blade
3/4" at its widest point
1/16" thick
Handle slabs are laminated cork, toxic green and tan G10. Aluminum hollow tubes.
Thanks for lookin and have a good one!
