Buck "KALINGA" knives

Was wondering why a 12 year old thread was resurrected?

Since it was, these are amongst my FAVORITE Bucks. I MUCH prefer the older ones with more tapered guard and 440C steel:

The folding Kalinga Buck made with rosewood are a nice compliment to the fixed Kalinga, too bad Buck discontinued making them.
 
I have new Kalinga 2013. Good knife, good steel.
But compared with older releases of the gap is larger and the knife has become more simplified.
Kalinga pro looks interesting, I'll try to take it :)
 
Haa, funny sea. A good example... Glad he can use the search feature. Although I'm not sure what he's saying. DM
