OK, i've been sorta absent on the Forum of late because i've been at 999 posts and wanted my 1,000th to be a Give-A-Way. So I've been going through my gear (which is mostly boxed up and in a storage unit) looking for a suitable give-a-way item.
I've been blessed by the comaradarie here as well as receiving, as a gift, a knife of my own design by a craftsman here (thanks again Bryan - my Truth knife is awesome!!!). I decided to offer an undisputed and *very* useful survival knife - a Victorinox "Mechanics" Swiss Army knife. It's in near new condition (only sliced some summer sausage once with the large blade!).
I must include a few restrictions (don't want to violate laws, etc)
* entrants must be at least 18 years old (and able to provide proof)
* NYC dwellers are *EDIT* INCLUDED (needed to check facts RE: Knife ownership/transfer there)
* must be able to communicate via e-mail
* must agree to post a photo of the winner with the knife
* must abide Local, State and Federal laws with regards to use of the knife
* one entry per participant (more than one entry disqualifies)
* i reserve all rights to determine the winning entrance number
* winner assumes all responsibility in knife ownership/use of the knife and any subsequent injury that may result of using the knife
Thats it.
International entrance is OK with me - so long as you abide by your Country's laws regarding knife ownership.
Here's how to enter: Simply reply to this post stating, "I'm in!!!" and your post number is your "Entry Ticket" number.
Entrances must be posted no later than 18:00 hrs (EST/UTC -5 hrs) Saturday, June 23, 2012 . I'll do a random number selection and announce the winner sometime thereafter.
