Show us how you sharpen or hone your knives! or your whetstones/knife sharpening devices.
I just realized that I need a ceramic or diamond honing rod (although the steel one does the job, more or less) when removing rust from an old machete

95% of my sharpening is done on a Naniwa 400 grit Chosera. I try not to develop a burr but when I do I usually strop on a 1000 grit Shapton. I have an Atoma diamond #400 if I want to cut more quickly or flatten one of the other stones. I also have a ceramic rod for sharpening knives if they have a recurve or some other weird blade geometry. .

I'm a caveman, though. I'm not into mirror finish or perfect bevels.
