I'm leaving CO tomorrow and will back in IL Monday. Should be able to pick my Marlin on Friday.

I considered .45-70 but decided on .30-30 because it was a good deal. I'll probably have a .45-70 at some point.

So today was awesome. Went to a free outdoor range with a buddy out here in Colorado. We were hanging steel targets at 100 yards which I've never done. We were pretty reliably hitting the targets with all four guns I brought. Hitting a 100 yard steel disc with a Sig P365 is damn impressive. Overall a lot of fun.

One of the last ones made by Marlin . JM stamped made in Connecticut, 2009. Unfired. I will probably take it to the range tonight.

Another new firearm I picked up yesterday - a Smith and Wesson Model 340 plus Crimson Trace laser grips (LG-105). Shown with a matching Benchmade Mini Griptilian. My pink mini griptillian has the sheepsfoot blade with thumbhole but is buried in a box, so I borrowed my son's for the pic...
