Was stripping some large mcm copper wires today, in a hurry to get a generator going for a local telephone company and the wire slipped out of my left hand and my right hand slide up across my Insingo, slicing a good chunk out of my right thumb...I am right handed...:thumbdn:

A quick trip to the ER and 7 stitches later.

Those numbing shots were the worse part...

Hoping you heal up quick! I can really empathize with you. Base of my right thumb is still a little tender some 6 weeks after my little mishap!! On the brighter side, you know ... a knife can be considered truly yours once it's tasted your blood!

And I believe youre also not allowed to sell it now as its claimed you ;)

well they say for a reason
Think Twice , Cut Once

bad luck happens, knives are sharp so I Feel sorry

Did they stick the needle through your finger and pierced the inside of your skin on the other side of your finger? :sour:
I REALLY dislike that feeling... but this anaesthetic is good stuff - it's worse it it doesn't numb the entire finger and if it's too late to redo it...

And I hope you'll heal fast - especially since it's the right one :-/

Judging from that nice slice the large insingo is great for kitchenduties
;-)

My small one made me miss a nice bit of the top of my right thumb closing it a bit too fast without paying to much attention:-(

This is what scares me the most about being such a knife nut. Honestly, I am the biggest wuss when it omens to stuff like that. I stabbed my palm once trying to cut open a hotdog hoagie bun and the knife went about 3/4 through my hand. The freaking local hurt like a MOFO and I wanted to knock the doctor out.
How your thumb heals up quickly.

Oh I feel that six months ago cutting some wires it took my left index 1/3 of it no sensation now it's a dead tip :( hope you recover man :)

Hope you heal quickly! The worst part is that is the thumb that you would use to open the Insingo which means you can't play with it for a while!!

Oh man, I can feel your pain through the pics. Ouch!!! Hopefully, the endorphins kicked in to numb the pain.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

yeah they call the shot a digital block as it numbs the nereves hurts like hell worse than the cut lol i feel you're pain!

Work is pretty hard with only one thumb....atleast there isn't any pain right now.

Luckily my Insingo has double thumbstuds so I can still play!

I believe this Insingo has def claimed me. We are joined now....
