Hosted Christmas at my place this year, cooked a 13 pound rib roast. First time doing one that big, turned out great. Was also the coldest Christmas ive experienced, -10 degrees with -30 winds. Put our planned camping trip on hold

I'm in, took a friend rough shooting with shotguns. We shot a few squirrels and a pheasant, which was his first. Showed him how to prepare it and he ate his first pheasant that night!

This season I made 2 new Knife people. One by gifting him a knife. He shows it to everyone and brags I gave it to him.

The 2nd I let borrow my knife a few times, he came to work a couple days ago to show me his new knife.

We had a nice, low key Christmas. One thing we like to do is pile in the car, bring some hot cocoa and go gawk at Christmas lights. I know…. I know…. But I have a five year old daughter and she loves it!

I got Covid and it screwed up my holiday plans lol. But I made the best of it and my wife and I went on a nice "staycation" around our area. Once we werent contagious we went to a concert for the new year and I saw Beethovens 9th symphony live, which was awesome.
