I forged this with 120 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steels
I heat treated this in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60
I pay attention to creating a fine grain throughout the blade for a strong and flexible knife
Flat, or maybe a subtle convex grind
It is flexible but not wimpy
Stabilized cherry burl handle
Overall length: 11 1/2 inches
Blade: 6 3/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
