Poland knife laws?

I read Poland has pretty relaxed knife laws and it’s technically legal to roam with any knife (as long as it’s not concealed to look like another object) without a lawful excuse needed as they are legally regarded as tools (common sense in Europe, finally…).

How is it in reality though? Is it socially acceptable to have a fixed blade around town or should I stick to a folder when inside city limits? I suppose there shouldn’t be any problems with fixed blades in rural areas, but let me know.

Curious to know the answer too. I might be visiting there soon.

I would say ask a Polak like myself but I don’t live there..haha. I used to talk to a guy a lot that lived in Warsaw that was an axe smith. They seem to be easy on owning but not sure about carrying, etc..especially with people from other countries.
