Your welcome 91, there is quite a difference in weight between the two I have. Not sure what the Japan model weighs compared to the 21. But it's a little thicker then I would think it has to be the heavyweight of the three.

When you say Japan model, are you talking about the light colored one? And the 21 is the coated one? It looks like the 21 is thicker than the uncoated one?

No, the shiny one you have that doesn't have the BK&T handle I believe was made in Japan for Blackjack and is close in weight to the 21 if not a little heavier. I was just trying to give you a prospective in the difference between the three .Yes the 21 is thicker and is heavier than the uncoated BK&T.

My first Becker, the BK14. In it's original state;

It's alright, but this is more my taste;

I'd like to add Jimping and need hardware for the zytel scales, and also dye them. Maybe later down the road make some micarta scales.

Added jimping Got some hardware, add some texturing, dyed them ''royal blue'' but it may have been too strong. Gonna get some dye remover and try again.
