RWL 34 Scout in Pertinax with MacBead carry

Hello friends, this is my Scout model.
This knife got blade of stainless PM RWL34 at 60RC. Blade is walking butter smooth with teflon washers. Strong lock up, no stick, nice detent. Perfect fit and finish.
Handle is made of two titanium liners in satin finish and Petinax (1970).
There is first time used my new variation of carry MacBead.

If want put classic pocket klip on knife, ask me for options.


Blade is 86mm long (3.38")
Blade thickness is 3,2mm (0.126")
Handle is 113mm long (4.45")
Overal leght is 199mm (7.83")


I am also very interested about Your thoughts and opinion on this carry system.

Love the knife, don't care for the carry method. I would rather have the clip on the knife. I think others will like it.

But....Pertinax Hp 2061 is paper laminated phenolic

I think that is Textolit Hgw 2082 who is cotton laminated phenolic

Thanks for Your notes man. I am pretty sure that we both have truth. Propably it depends in country of origin. Old Czechoslovak (this country is not exist alreday) Pertinax was phenolic laminate of cotton, Kartit was phenolic laminate of paper.In the present is kartit still produced and Pertinax was Replaced with Textit. Kartit and Textit are both laminated with epoxy resin. Similar equivalent of Kartit is Umakart.
This is all I know about past and present electroinsulation composites in Czech :)

Beautiful folder! I love the blade shape and swedge. I am not quite sure about the dangler since i am in dress pants without a change pocket most of the time, but love the concept and how clean that leaves the knife. Nice work.
 
I dig this carry system. That's not my kind of knife, but I'd love this clip on a nice slipjoint. Good idea. Good luck.
 
The carry setup ... I don't know. Probably something I'd just have to live with before I had an opinion one way or another. Beyond that I can only speculate as to whether or not I think I would like it. Either way, props for innovating and trying new things. I respect the heck out of that. The knife on the other hand, there's no doubt. That's an absolute beauty. If I had more money in my pocket, I'd gladly trade it for that beautiful knife. Really clean work. Excellent job all around.
 
Just wanted to say Vaclav's knives are fantastic. Carrying a very similar folder of his as my EDC.

Love the carry system. Seems like it solves the problem of the knife blocking the entrance to the pocket. Very cool.
