Greetings everyone,

I’ve made a couple of folding knives, and I thought you guys on the Traditional and Fixed Blade Sub-Forum might appreciate them. They are my take on the traditional Saddlehorn folder, which I have modernized by making them into flippers. They are the second and third folders, I have made. Both knives are liner locks, and the blades pivot on caged ball bearings from Alpha Knife Supply.

The first shown has an N690 blade, anodized titanium handles, and purple G10 scales.

The second Saddlehorn has a CPM 20CV blade, carbon fiber scales, and heat colored titanium handles, screws, and pocket clip.

Most folks who hang out in the Traditional Forum also spend time in General. We can look at your knives there, where this thread is being moved.

Freakin' fantastic is right!

That's a good looking knife. Nice job!

Damn you sure learned how to make amazing looking folders quick!

Great work!

Thanks guys! I forgot to add the blade lengths to my original post. The Recurve and Saddlehorn blades are each about 3.8" long, to stay under CT's 4" limit. The recurve is approximately 9" overall, opened, and the Saddlehorns are about 8.9".

Damn!!! They are awesome looking Chris!!
I especially like the flipper tabs brother!
Great looking work!

Those are awesome! You should consider doing some with natural scales like bone, stag, etc. Threads asking for a blend of modern and traditionals pop up fairly often, I bet there's a real market for those.

Holy smokes. Traditionals are not much thing, but these could be the knife that bridges the gap for me! Really nice!
