An old cross Pioneer today and a 1907 whistle a fella sent me. It was taken to the western front during world war one by a Signaller that soon became a Sniper because he thought he may as well fight back being so close to the action. Unfortunately his grandson thought he should clean it in an ultrasonic cleaner before sending it to me. Cleaning=value drop. But I'm still super happy to look after it for some future owner.
