I haven't made many fixed blades lately and I made this knife as a demonstration knife in the knife making class that I am teaching. Each week I did something different to it till it was finished.
Blade is 2-7/8in long made of O-1. Satin finished, flat ground with false edge. Top edge can be sharpened. Scales are stabilized maple burl with stainless pins. Holes have been drilled in the handle for weight reduction and there is about 1 inch of vine filework on the top for a thumb rest. Overall length is 6-1/4in.
