This is a high alloy carbon tool steel. It has the added benefits of some corrosion resistance and added toughness, and best of all, better edge holding. This blade takes a great edge.
You won't be disappointed, buy with confidence, you will be satisfied or your money back.

Length - 9.94” [252]
Heel - 2.08 [53]
Spine - .098 [2.5]
Weight - 255 grams

Handle length - 5 3/8”

Snakewood handle with black G 10 frame
blade has a thin hard edge.
spine and choil rounded and polished
This is a weighty blade, stiff spine

This steel has a lengthwise scratch pattern to about 40 micron and fine scotch brite.
