Thanks, Tom!πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ‘
Crazy what a difference a paint job and some cord wrap can make!πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

The Green & Brown one is awesome.
Any chance to buy one here in Europe/Germany?
Any dealer/Reader you are working with?
I’ m in love with the B.U.S.H. Knife..

Thank you! I do not have a maker's membership here anymore, and do not plan on getting one again at this time, so won't comment directly on sales. For any questions, my email is wilsoncustomknives@gmail.com.

Somehow, someway, for 33 years I totally missed the fact that Jack Crain made the hollow handle knife in the movie, Road House. What the heck?!?!

"As seen in the 1989 Patrick Swayze film "Road House". This combat/survival hollow handle double edge dagger was used in the scene with Sam Elliot and in the final scenes with Patrick Swayze.
The 5 3/4" blade is stainless steel with the hollow handle out of carbon steel parkerized black."

The blade the stainless, is not black. The handle is black parkerized, and the knife still looks exactly the way it did in 1988 when it was made. 2 rubber knives were made, one chest rig with a handle bolted to a piece of leather that Sam Elliot wore under his shirt, and the famous knife in the gas pedal. I've owned the real and rubber ones for quite a while now and they look amazing still.

A project I have been working on for a bit, the PACKLite. It's an ultralighweight hollow handle knife, coming in at under 3.5 oz, with a 3" blade. Here are a couple of pics, I'll get some more info up soon.πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Œβš”οΈ

Thanks, Tom! Wanted to do something that would be at home backpacking or on the job. Excellent reviews so far!😎😎πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Awesome design and workmanship, Sam. I sound like a broken record, but that's because of your consistency in excellence. So basically, it's your fault. πŸ˜πŸ‘

Thank you, Tom! I just never post the ones that go into the trash. So my success record is artificially inflated, lol!🀣🀣

But I do love that GunKote color. Will be the new standard color for Wilson gear.😎πŸ”₯πŸ”₯βš”οΈβš”οΈ

Have ended up with a few Wall Knives finding their way to my house since my last picture. Really like his knives with my only real complaint being the shallow hollow handle. Not room for much in there, especially compared to my Martins and Andrew Clifford.

As I pondered this the other day, I decided that I would exclusively put tinder in the handle and picked up some strikers and small ferro rods off of Amazon. I figured I could thread the ferro rod onto the paracord and put the striker in with the sharpening stone.

Went out today to play with the set up. Strikers have a very thick paint coating on them that I had to grind off on a rock before I could get a spark. Also realized that the cord through the ferro rod is the only way I could hold it without gouging the crap out of my hands while striking. The system worked and I'm going to set up my user knives with this as a backup fire system.

Latest knives: First Blood style in D2, 12-9 style bowie in O-1 (Cerakoted OD Green for the hell of it) and Sunfish style in 440C. Bought the 12-9 as a user as it was previously used but have ended up taking all of them out for various things. I like em.

Be Safe

Tad
