:eek:....

how many belts did you go through?!

:thumbup::thumbup:

It actually isn't that bad before HT. But after HT is a whole different story. I'll have to go straight to a brand new ceramic belt just to remove the decarb. Or else it will just take FOREVER!!!!! But it will have a edge that long will cut for a long long time before needing sharpening. Especially when it will have 2 edges ;) Christmas present to myself. Sitting in the HT oven now.

Where is the balance point? ;)

Balance point is roughly about 2.5-3" in front of the choil. It was waaay forward before I put on the large swedge. It should be about 1" or so in front of the choil by the time I put some thick handles on it.

Finally got this one done. Took me most of today and a few hours from yesterday to get it all cleaned up. Full convex grind with a zero convex edge. Top swedge is fully sharpened as well. This one weights in at a mere 1lb 1.8oz which is .1oz heavier than the previous prototype. Close enough ;) Ultra fast and ultra sharp! Whats there not to like?

I'm in love! This blade felt great, can't wait to fully test it out; gotta be really careful on that back swing though...

Leave me alone with the Tigress in a room full of zombies please.
