Vintage WM Marples & Sons LTD No 2 . Would anyone have any idea on the age?

How old is that square you're using to measure it?
It’s a Sargent 8” x 12” I think its from the 20 or 30’s but I don’t know for sure. I seen it in an antique shop for $11 and couldn’t pass on it.How old is that square you're using to measure it?

Ok. Then tell Us. What is the estimate age on the clever? You've already exposed your finer tastes in vintage things.
So how old is that clever?
I didn’t know at first but after some digging I found a WM Marples and son’s historical website and emailed the admin. They revealed some key characteristics about the cleaver that suggests it was produced roughly in or around 1905Ok. Then tell Us. What is the estimate age on the clever? You've already exposed your finer tastes in vintage things.
So how old is that clever?
