Just ordered a Wichard W3 sailing knife as a back-up to my David Boye Folder. Does anyone have any experience with Wichard knives? I know they are made in France and seem to have the respect of the sailing community, but I am curious as to the opinion of them amongst the bladed elite.
On a side note: Does anyone have a knife in 316L steel? I am not expecting much in the way of edge holding, but if anyone has more info, that would be great. I already looked at the steel spec sheets, so I'm hoping more for real world performance testimonials.
