Why the heck dont someone at Council Tool perform some sort of quality control? This one just arrived with a nice nick in the edge. They did a lousy job hanging the head too.

Well for $216 I was expecting a fine example. Like this CT camp carver I recently acquired.

It's something that's been frustrating for us retailers. Whiskey River and I often compare notes on shipments, and we've been sent one another's returns before in the past and were able to spot it thanks to doing so. It's been an uphill battle overall. When you get a good one, it's good, but it's always a matter of luck if not buying from someone who inspects their shipments, and most shops don't do that.
