“Decades” of GEC

We all have our favorite patterns, blade styles, handle materials, etc. Let’s see your favorite “decades” of GEC knives. Not decades meaning a group of 10 years, but patterns in the same 10’s digit (20’s, 30’s, 40’s, etc).

I’ll start… here’s my 70’s collection, including my favorite pattern of 74’s.

I totally get that! I had mine out for oiling today, and the idea struck me. Good looking knives, I like that Farmer Jack!

That's the first time I see a Schrade Auto here on BF. Cool! Wish they make some autos again. Interesting thread idea though.

It’s a Bradford Bullet two blade made by GEC. Hardest pull of any knife I own, a real nail breaker!

agreed, ill list them, but im not taking anything out 10s, 30s, 40s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s. At some point i did have something in the 20s and 50s as well, but they must have not survived the previous purgings.

Never really thought of my collection this way but I guess technically my most numerous "decade" is the teens.


Next would be the 20's


And 30's


Then the 60's

I don’t remember much of the 60’s. It’s not because of a more free lifestyle, traveling the country in a VW or experimenting with all that nature and science can provide. It’s because my time in the 60’s was short lived, only being there just shy of 10 months. So my decade of the 60’s GEC are also a bit short lived, but I think I’ve got some of the better looking ones…
