Morning and happy January to you folks! I have a leather slip sheath that came with my Viper Hug folder that I will not be using, it's a light leather slip sheath that will hold a sizeable folder I would think, soft leather too.

I'd like to give this to a person that could use one, so the only stipulation would be that you have not won anything in the past year, let others get a turn, while not a flashy give away, it's nice all the same.

I'll let this go until this coming Wednesday afternoon, and will run the ever popular random number generator program to select the winning post.

Good luck and keep warm out there! it was 6 degrees Fahrenheit this morning here !

Did I fail to mention that inside the slip sheath is a Rough Ryder whittler? ;)
it is compliments of our very own DavidZ DavidZ
I have sharpened it some and turned one of the pen blades into a coping blade of sorts...

amen, i had the privilege of meeting Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley at last year's rendezvous and experiencing his generosity first hand as well as handling some of the blades he was carrying with him that day, i have to say that is some high quality sharpening! (also not an entry)
 
I’d like to have a go on this, if I’m eligible. Looks like a really classy slip, but the knife is the real attraction here. I’ve always liked those RR’s!
 
Wow Gary.... that is nice! I was looking at the slip sheath because i was looking for something similar for a German Springer i bought and i'm waiting for. And then i saw your second post.....drooool.
I never won anything on this forum, so hopefully fingers crossed!

Not a bad idea Will, but two things spring to mind if people start putting others in as recipients
1. Has that person not won anything before?

2. And it’s possible that the person might not be interested in this knife or might already own one.

So I think it’s better for those interested to put their own hat into the ring, this way we know that those who are interested will post and have a fair chance
