Here is a new model that will go into the lineup, the B.U.S.H. Bowie (Bushcraft Utility Survival Hollow/Handle). This one fills the gap between the S.A.F.E. System I and II, and gives more of a classic clip point design that is always very popular.

It has a 5.75" long blade of 3/16" thick stock (this one was 1095 by request, but future models will be CPM154), aluminum guard and handle to keep weight down, and a steel plated aluminum buttcap, to maintiain balance and also allow for hammering/pounding without chewing up the aluminum cap. The guard is contoured for comfort, and the top guard is minimal to facilitate actual use and putting your thumb on the spine for detail work.

The spine is left sharp for scraping and striking a firesteel, as this is by far the most requested configuration. The knife is double hollow ground, with the clip being ground thin enough to sharpen if the client so desires. The whole knife and cap are finished in Wilson Gray GunKote, a thin and very durable baked on coating done in-house. Excellent corrosion resistance and a subdued appearance without being the same old "tactical black" that is so common. A compass in the buttcap finishes off the knife.

A handmade and hand stitched leather sheath with pouch for a tin to hold any additional supplies rounds it out. Very pleased, and will be making more. Thanks for looking!

Sweeeeet Sam,
There is something about a swedged clip point, well done & fine sheath work.
Keep up the fine work my friend.

A little in-progress video from this BUSH Bowie, before GunKote. You can see the steel plate on the buttcap, machined together nicely, in the video.
