This is my first attempt at this style of blade (what can I say, I was bored over the holidays). The blade is 7" long (12" overall) edge-quenched and triple tempered 1/8" 0-1 with an exposed tang for a lanyard. The handle scales are textured G10 with white spacer material secured with 1/4" ss corby rivets. This blade is my first recurve, first exposed tang, first G10 handle, and the first knife etched with a new trademark that I made over the weekend. Overall, I'm reasonably happy with it (hopefully the friend that's going to get it will be too:D ). Anyway, let me know what you think.

The spacer material is white sheet material I got from Rob! and the sheath is in the works (still trying to figure out a good design). Thanks for the comment.

That is one nice blade:thumbup: Theirs no doubt you buddy will like that one.

Nick:)

Thanks for the comments guys. This one is actually just a prototype. I'm not completely happy with it so it's not good enough to sell (however it is good enough to have a friend use and test). The next one I make will have thicker stock (3/16 or 5/32), hardwood handles (still not sure if I like the synthetics), and possibly be hollow ground (if I ever get around to building another grinder). I'm really happy with the overall look and feel but the execution still needs a bit of tweekin'.
