0.187" : Blade Thickness and Heat Treatment

All INFI should both be between 58-60 RC.

The only exception to this that I am aware of is the Boney Active Duty (BAD) which was made at 60-62 RC in INFI.

Some of the early BM versions (like Lil'Foo has) were in the 60+ range.

actually, you'd probably have spent more in the long run just by buying more INFI over all.

go figure. any attempt to spend less on INFI fails when given enough time. it's crazy...

INFI has a way of twisting logic to justify the acquisition of more INFI, no doubt.... :)

But do you guys have any idea how much money I've wasted buying, trying, testing other knives in an attempt to find a steel that performs like INFI?!!! ;)

So... in my mind, I would have certainly saved money (and a lot of time) if I'd have known about INFI sooner. Oh well, I got here as soon as I could. NO REGRETS!!!

How a long blade can be heat treated like a short blade, furthermore with a full temper??? I love my tan SARsquatch, it's my favorite Busse, but it's not a thick blade. So the same thickness/heat treatement for a Busse sword..., I just do not understand how it's possible.
