After midnight pics...I'm not to good at night pics so thought I would get a little practice in with a new addition...the Neem wood Katunje by Kumar..the 1st and 2nd were done out on my deck and the 3rd was done by hanging it on the wall of my office, this was a goof-up pic so I thought I would just tweak it with CS2...another excellent H.I product with great taste comming from Yangdu on getting the Kamis to make this Katunje for us! Light, fast, love the markings by the spine...yep this was a good grab!
I'll see about taking better pics during the day tomorrow

I also just received a Neem-handled Kumar-made UB marked Katunjee, and bought/sniped a Satisal-handled Sher UB-marked Katunjee a couple months ago. These are my favorite short khuks, hands down. IMO it is a wonderful design, something a bit more substantial than a 12" Siru, with its own unique personality. Very captivating, almost sexy blade profile.

A most excellent product offering, with my compliments to Yangdu and the responsible kamis. Well done!

24" 64oz HI cat. Took a ding during shipment. Several nails protruding through case. Kumar super glue fixed a small hole in the backside...Housebroken, but not happy about it. Will rate it 7 lives out of 9. SBB+ ;)

Sweet it's not fair that you get ALL the nice toys AND can make them look so dang good:D Thanks for the pics, as always. Beautiful cat, BTW:)

Fancy SoS and a nice blade profile. Neat lil khuk. How's it compare handling wise with a BAS?

Isn't Neem the aromatic wood she sent a disk of? What's it smell like?

What finish, if any, to put on the Neem?

Maybe I'm lazy but I've been soaking dry (villager) handles in Ballistol® and the grain really shows... can do no harm.
