Interesting, but what makes it a "V" variant that is different than the regular production model?

The original Micarta Jess Horn is the base model, so the black FRN model from a few years ago, as well as this current sprint run, are considered variants.

are you sure? The Micarta Jess Horn has C34, the black FRN C38; so I think the burgundy FRN C38 is the variant of the black FRN C38. What do you think? :jerkit:
 
I already took the clip off of this beauty, and it will become my EDC deep in my pocket. I have already cut open three bubble-packed toys for my son. What a cutter. I love this knife. Thanks, Sal.

Nope, not sure at all. I forgot the FRN was a different SKU. Thanks for pointing that out.

You'd think the C38PBRG would give it away as a variant of the C38, and not the C34.

It would help if I paid attention:p
