A strange title for this thread, but that is the washer size to change out the Recon 1, AD10, AD15,SR1 for the most part if you want bigger washers that eliminate the paper thin white teflon washers .A guy i bought a Recon 1 on the exchange had it in that knife. The AD10 seems smoother, as does 1 AD15 my second AD15 and the others are smooth, but slightly tighter at the moment. You can get them from One of the knifemaker websites, i think the minimum was 6 pairs. It should work on some of the other Cold Steels that use this double washer system.....

And to add, that size fits large Voyagers as well.

XL Voyagers take .015x.250x.625

These are all larger outer diameter than stock, but do not interfere with the lock. Dirt cheap and easy to do.

and use 0.10x0.25x0.5 for Ultimate Hunter. For smaller cold steel models with smaller pivot(e.g. medium voyager, mini recon 1 etc.), dont use 0.189" ID washers, they wont fit since these knives are mostly used in Taiwan and they use metrics system, so the pivot is slightly larger than the 0.189" washers from USA Knife Maker.

Thank you for sharing. Does anyone have measurements for the Ti-Lites? Also, is there a difference between the size needed for 4” vs 6”

There are a few threads related to this if you search under "washers cold steel" years old but the info is still valid...

Those washers from USA knife maker work perfectly and are a worthwhile mod, all my regular EDC CS's have this mod.
What I also recommend is very lightly polish them on a strop then thoroughly cleaning them before fitting (I use a drop of nano oil). I have a AD10, 4max scout, voyager XL that are sebenza smooth through doing this. Also polishing the contact points of the tri ad..... But be careful 😜

Remember, don't go mad polishing those washers are you are removing metal from a very close tolerance!
