I had to share with the family that i learned today that 49-01 #013 will be shipping out to me tommorow!! I just can't wait to have it in my hands, I CAN HARDLY TAKE IT!!!!
 
Runs With Scissors: As far as quantity goes, there will be 99 of the 49-01's. There were supposed to have been 100 but #001 apparently got damaged during production. There were 25 49SPL's made, but i dont know what that 22 could be referring to:confused:
 
Dawkind, i thought of you when i was told i could choose between 013 and 014, thinking maybe he would have 015 as well...he doesn't now, but is in fact expecting one more, so if it's 015 one i'll let you know.

Sniperboy, between 13 and 14 you know it's an easy choice!! I'M SOOOOO EXCITED!!!
 
Hmmm, that's funny, I was told I was getting #13, mine was shipped out a few days ago, I guess I'll find out tomorrow when mine is supposed to get here (UPS has left slips saying that they tried to deliver but nobody was home, they are going to try one more time tomorrow, I hope someone is home to sign for it).

Yes, that is funny...and a bit odd. I know my dealer had mine in hand when he told me i could choose between 013 and 014, i hope his vision isn't that bad! Deffinately let me know when you get yours BalisongMan, i'm curious to know.

My dealer told me that the 49 had come in and that it was #13, that was last Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving) and he shipped it out on Monday, it was supposed to get here on Tuesday but UPS requires a signature in person, hopefully I'll get it today (Thursday), otherwise I'll have to find out where the freaking UPS place is and go pick it up myself.

I guess it doesn't matter which number I get, I just though it was cool that I was getting #13, but now we are both getting #13 :D Maybe BM made 2-#13s since #1 got scrapped!!!! :D

I look forward to letting you know tonight masse, and I won't be sore if I don't get #13, as long as I get a BM 49-01 I am happy :D

That's the truth BalisongMan!! This is certainly a funny situation, but hey, we're both going to have a 49-01 in the long run so what's the difference?!? congrats on yours, cant wait to see!!
 
LOL, I bet neither of us will get #013 :D :D I would know today but of course UPS needs someone over 21 to sign for it and nobody was home, I'll try to pick it up tomorrow, I just need to find out where the UPS building is at.
Hopefully you got yours masse, and I agree, as long as we both come out with a BM 49-01 it is all good!!! :D
 
What? I have never had to be any age to sign for anything. They even delivered a handgun for dad to my house and I wasn't require to show ID. What is this world coming to when you can't even get packages with out proving your age?
 
You guys are lucky I don't know where you live. I would sit on your porch and read the paper or something, acting like I lived there, and when Mr BM 49 arrived I would have myself a new collectors item. muahahahaha!
 
This is funny.

I came here to get info on what my 013/500 first production run Benchmade Balisong 42AS is worth because I want to sell it, and then I found this thread.

Enjoy your #13, whoever gets it :D

Maybe Snipe will put together a list of everyone and their numbers like she did for the 42 :D
