A question for Phil or whoever might know this: is there a list of the knife patterns made by Camillus for various other manufacturers, that used 0170-6C steel in the blades?

My Camillus-made Becker BK-7 is 0170-6C, and I've owned several Remington patterns in that steel, I have maybe thirty knife blanks from when Camillus closed in '07, and I'm not sure what steel is in them.

If it is Carbon Steel from that era, chances are it is 0170-6C.

Anything that resembled a "list" of blade production is long lost! :grumpy:

Thanks for the info; I assume by the "era" you mention, that you mean the 1990's? Do you know how long 0170-6C was used by Camillus?

Thanks!

~Chris

Mr. Williams has boxes of S cards. It would likely take a lot of sifting to sort by steels though.

The S-Cards were discontinued in 1988 and I have few records after this date.
