0302 Tiger Stripes............

I got a new ZT 0302 in trade recently. The one I have was made in July 2007. I've seen several pics of other 0302's.

The pics of other 0302 blades have dark grey blade with lighter grey stripes. Mine is just the the reverse, light grey blade with dark

grey stripes that aren't as wide as the newer ones.


Guys with 0302's is your blade dark grey with lighter grey stripes or the reverse ?


Does anyone have info that ZT is going to start making the 0302 again this year ? I remember reading that a member said he
read this on the ZT facebook. I looked yesterday but couldn't find anything. I don't know how to contact Thomas and ask him.

My 302 has dark grey stripes that are thicker than the light grey stripes. It was definitely one of the last ZT302's to be produced. I noticed that earlier ZT30x's have the light grey stripes wider and more pronounced than the later ZT30x models. I was talking knives at a gun store when both the owners mentioned they each carry a zt301. I asked to see it and both have the light grey stripes more pronounced. Their store was one of the first to receive the first production runs for the ZT301.

If forgot when Kershaw stopped putting the BORN ON date. All of my ZT's are later models that do not have the BORN ON date.
 
In addition to reading a post somewhere in here from Thomas saying they're making some more 0302 in 2012, a knife dealer I frequent also was assured at the SHOT show this past week from Jennifer that they will be making some more this year. I've been hounding this knife dealer for the better part of a year now about the 0302 so every chance they get to ask someone "in the know" they tell me in the hopes that I stop pestering them. With that said though, indications are that they are only making a limited few.

This is great new for guys that want to get a 0302. I wonder how many a limited few is. This is great new for guys that want a 0302.

I think the 0302 is the best looking of the 030x series.
