At my day job, I work with technology, all kinds of technology. Most manufactuers these days, cut down small forests to make cardboard boxes. Interactive touchscreens are a big hit right now, and one of my clients bought quite a few of these things.
Basically, a part of my job is breaking down cardboard boxes. The ones that were waiting on me this morning, were 8' long. 7' tall, and 2' wide. And there were 6 of them. Triple wall on the outers, double wall on the inners. So, this is the first "real" test for my 350. Sure, cutting packing tape, stripping wire, its all in a days work, but here, we have a challenge.
For the best fit, I cut the boxes down to 3' x 2' approx sizes. When I started, the dumpster was empty. Here's the end result.
Some triple wall cross cuts. Went through 'em like butter.
All the damage that was done to the blade.
Its still sharp, not hair poppin' sharp like it was when we started, but its still pretty sharp. It will get stropped, but its gonna be a while before this bad boy gets the diamonds again.
Thanks for lookin'.
