Anyone have both of these knives? Which do you like more? Is the extra weight of the Ti really noticeable? I have an 0452CF and now the Ti is calling my name.

I don't have the all Ti version, but my 452CF is my favorite ZT and one of my altogether favorite knives. I like long knives and long handles, though narrow grips can be a problem as my old carpenter's mitts are kinda crippled up. The ergos on the 452 are superb, though, and the knife just nestles in my hand perfectly. I traded for an all-Ti 450 some time ago, but found the little guy a tad slick for me, given its shorter handle. I went for an aftermarket CF scale from Knifestyle which helps quite a bit and it makes a nice match for its big brother.

Given the great ergos on the 452, I shouldn't think the all-Ti would be noticeably slipperier in hand, but I really like the feel and look of the CF models and will probably just stay with the two I have.

I no longer have my CF 452 but still have my g10 m390 sprint. But between the Ti and CF I would choose CF. Now, if ZT would start darkening their Ti instead of that natural stainless color I would be much more interested.

There's a solution to most any issue. If you want a different color, go visit USA Made Blades, @whitty does all sorts of anodizing on some of the knives he has and ZT happens to be one. I've got a CF452 from him in a bronze color.

I haven't tried the ti yet, but I absolutely love the cf. Super light and just enough grip to keep it from slipping out of dirty hands, but not so much grip that you feel like your holding a roll of sandpaper.
I do want to get the ti to try it out. I'm sure you can't go wrong either way.

Yup. I love the look of those anodized ones. How is the finish holding up on your 0452CF?

I got 3 anodized ZTs from Scott around 2 years ago, all 3 have been carried and used plenty!
Anodizing still looks great!
Also, Scott does ano tune ups!!!

I went with a bronze 452 CF, a blue 450 and a light blue 562CF. They are awesome!

A lot better than the pocket clip. I've used it for about a month now and it is holding up very well.
