0560 questions

Guys, I'm on the verge of picking up a 0560(my grail) on the secondary market, but I'm a bit hesitant. I'm picky about things like blade play, detent, even edge bevels, and lock up especially when it comes to $200+ knives. Are there any certain things I should look out for with the 0560? Like later serial numbers, or manufacture dates? Also, are there any common complaints in regards to issues with the 0560 that I should ask the seller about prior to saying "I'll take it"?

Thanks for any advice guys! This will be the most expensive knife I've bought to date, and just want to make sure it's the right one when I get it.

Especially if it's a regular model and not a blem... you still have a warranty should anything be off with the knife. They're called Zero Tolerance for a reason. ;) The only issue I've seen on the 560 is a sticky lock bar. Mine had it but it worked itself out after a couple of days.
 
Mine is in the early 1500 serial number range, made in June 2012 and is amazing quality, great knife!
 
Serial 44XX and I can tell you that mine is decent. I had sticky lock for a while (a month or longer) but it's gone. Also if you look closely one side is ground a little higher than the other. Also it squeaks, but if you clean the detent path off it won't squeak anymore.

That might put you off but I would still be mine over again if I had to.
 
I have several. One is a early 16xx another is mid at 29xx and my lastest is a 50xx.

The only change I've see. Is that on the early one the titanium is brighter and has a different cutout on the lockbar. The mid and newer ones have darker titanium

Early one on the left. Brighter. Notice how the cutout starts above the screw and the milled hole is larger

Mid and newer ones have the cutout start mid screw and have a smaller milled out hole

Does It make a difference??! Not that I can tell ;)

My lock was sticky for about a week. I was worried about it at first but it worked itself out. The bevel on mine is way off, so much so that I have considered sending it in. With all of that said I still love the knife and have carried it every day since I purchased it. The knife carries much smaller than its true size due to the deep carry clip.
