Was wondering, but found them all at the home website on the journal/mag FBF page. Or whatever it’s called.

See, as I clearly stated last week, the weekly Thursday reveal has become critical to my quarantined-self’s well-being and all.

Is this a hint of restraint in the Fiddleback Quarantine Age? Well, certainly not in that subLime (get it? :D) Woodsman. A real looker, that one!

Oh, I do wish that Minimuk wore Micarta/Dewcarta/G-10. Such a beautiful, balanced, “smooth” (not an angle to be found) design. IMHO, Not an easy thing to pull off in a Muk-based design. At some “point” that one has to happen for me.

But in the end it is the deal on the straightforward (of late, that is) orange Recluse that wins my user’s heart. I DO treasure using my Patch, so this design just has to be a good fit for me. Oh, and is not “Recluse” the most thoroughly appropriate name for a knife born in quarantine??? (Hmmmm . . . Come to think of it, scratch that about this knife being a good deal and all that other good stuff just said. o_O On second thought, I realize it is criminally overinflated of price, really quite homely, and obviously truly awkward to boot! Yeah, that’s the ticket.)

The Recluse is definitely a great knife. I still love to make them.

That's great to hear, Fiddleback Fiddleback Andy! The Recluse does still seem to have a decent sized following. It would be a pretty sad thing if you got no pleasure from creating the knives and were simply left to make do in order to satisfy a demand. Though I suppose there would still be some pleasure in that, it would not be the same as the joy of creating something both highly functional and beautiful that you got before.

Pondering just now, I wonder if having the flexibility to pick the expression of each knife and its execution - from choice of steel to the scales material and color, as well as that of bolsters, liners, pinstripes, and pins (material, color, configuration) helps to keep the fun alive? There are a ton of creative decisions inherent in bringing about each knife.
