It is possibly in the works with an unknown eta..I have seen it listed as coming soon at multiple dealers sites.It could end up being a LE sold thought the KAI website and not dealers?Stayed tuned and time will tell.......
 
It may have been presumption on the part of the dealer. Thomas mentioned he had no idea that knife was in the works when asked months back.
 
I meant to ask if anyone had heard the good news, BladeHQ had this in the Coming Soon section, I doubt they would put it in there if they didn't know if it was real/they were getting any. :)
 
Some dealers do put preorders up without concrete information on a piece, it happens frequently. Some dealers oversell preorders too, then refund when they sell out their allotments.
