I was lucky enough to attend the Guild show in Louisville this past weekend. It was a most enjoyable show and there was some great stuff to see.
I purchased 3 knives and I ordered 3. So hopefully next year I will have them in hand:)
Here are a few pics:

Steve Johnson had 6 knives for sale.It was no surprise that they did not last long

Thanks Alphaholic.

Great so far but need more pictures. Do you have a better shot of those Johnsons? Very cool.

Thanks folks here are a few more I have in Photobucket. I am just waiting for my flight to Boston so I will upload more in the next day.
Apologies I have no pics of the Johnsons:( (The Knives Steve brought to the show were gone in minutes)....these that you see are all customers knives he is selling. He had a particularly nice symetrically double ground boot knife made in the early 80's with the original Westinghouse white micarta which has turned that aged yellow over the years.(PM me if you want the price and he said the owner was "flexible") I really liked it as it was a typical 80's custom. I don't think he sold any of the consignment knives so if anyone was interested you should contact him.

Sales at the show were generally disappointing with even the big names having poor sales. (at least that was the general consensus) However socially it was great!!:)

Anyway here are a few more pics

Hi Steven,

Glad you enjoyed yourself. The photos are always a treat. Especially good to see Scott Slobodian up and apparently healthy once again. That was NOT the case last year.

Thank you!

Coop

I agree with Coop as we had not heard how Scott was doing lately. Nice looking knives too. Hope that we see more closeups of the knives and get more detail re the show as a show report. How was the venue? Rooms? Food? Hope next year will see us able to attend. Keep the images coming.

It's indeed good to see Scott up and running again. As for his health issues. Last week he informed me that although the infection in his brain is long gone he still frequently experiences seizures. But fortunately these don't make it impossible for Scott to make knives. So he is back to knifemaking but he still has to adjust his pace.
