This is My 1,000th post in Bladeforums, most of which have been in HI's Cantina. I did not expect to see this happen...for a variety of reasons. I'd like to thank Bill Martino, and a few of the other folks particularly, and the motley crew at the Cantina in general--for education, entertainment, some cause for reflection, and the general foolishness which have made some of the days much, much better.
The TV show, "CHEERS" was either good or bad, but the theme song was remarkably insightful into human nature. Going "some place where everybody knows your name" is like finding a comfort in a world which lends itself to discomfort with others.
Long ago and far away, some friends sent me a card I still cherish. It read:"We need to have people who mean something to us. Someone to whom we turn, knowing that being with them, is coming home."
Thanks folks, more than you know.
