Well, it took me awhile but I made it...
I wanted to do a one thousandth post giveaway in here because, other than a couple of the more nefarious regions of BFC
, this is where I've been spending most of my online time. This subforum has such a welcoming congenial atmosphere that it's a real pleasure to sometimes just kick back and soak up the folksiness.
It also happens to be the only one where I regularly search and pour through the old posts as the members who frequent here have forgotten more about traditional knives than I could ever hope to learn.
Anyway, the only requirement that I ask is that you have at least 48 posts (the number I had before this one) in this subforum to qualify. I will let this run until Saturday (April 17) night when I will pick a winner at random. Please post only once as your post number will be your entry.

The knife has not been used or sharpened but does show some light handling marks and the blade is a bit off-center (wth though, it's free
