I know, everyone gets there eventually, but mine was a little special to me.

The reason is I can't type, :rolleyes: never could...........I use two fingers.......I have others but they don't know what to do, so they just watch what my right index and my left index fingers do.

The other problem that just compounds the "no type" syndrome is I can't see the keys unless I have my walmart readers on. :rolleyes:

So where it would take you all about 30 seconds to type this post, it took me about 15 minutes, with lots of corrections and back spacing.

So you see why this is a proud day for me, below is my original 1,000th post for Bladeforums (scroll down).

P.S And then I looked at Esav Benyamin' post count of almost 15,000 !! :eek: How did he do it !!
 
That's a lot of posts, Robbie, but it's the quality that counts, not the quantity. You are welcome here even if you do type slowly! :D
 
Congratulations Robbie and ya' probably type faster than me.And now I know what to call a bunch of my knives. :thumbup:

And, Robbie, I also type with two fingers, but my WPM is about 30 this way.

And I learned by using a computer repetitively.

keep your chin up; you'll get there eventually. :)

Wait a minute! You mean you're supposed to use more than 2 fingers? Exactly which ones should I use then . :(
 
Severtecher, just keep using both your thumbs -- you're doing fine that way :D

I had a college roommate who was a theater arts major. He typed a lot, faster than me, and I was pretty good, but he was faster than anyone I'd seen. He used two index fingers, that's it, on an old manual typewriter.

Practice, practice, practice.

Don't feel too bad about your typing-speed...I use all 8 of my fingers, and sometimes, all at the same time.:D.:D.

I just pound on the keyboard with my fists. Then I get angry and let my trained chimp type for me.
