10!

She arrived this afternoon so here are some pics to show how the B10 compares to the B11 and other larger Bussekin.

Nice set you have there! Thank you for sharing, nice pics and cute dogs!

Very nice! I didnt notice the slight drop point that the 10 has and the 11 doesnt have. I like it

very nice pic's thank ya, i think i like the drop point better also.

Congratulations on the B-10 and all those other terrific blades!:D:thumbup:

Thanks Tom. Happy Birthday BTW - was it a good one? I saw you were keeping warm with the ASH Whacker while waiting for the B10. I did a quick chop-off with the BWMLE, B11, B10 and ASH Whacker 9.5 this afternoon after taking the pics. Too little to draw any conclusions though.

Man those dogs are growing! Thanks for the side by side shots.

Hey Doug, how have you been? It is ridiculous how fast they are growing. I cannot believe that in 6 months they went from this:

To this:

In the first pic they were 2 months old and weighed 8 lbs (female) and 6 lbs (male).

They turned 8 months old last week and they weigh just short of 70 lbs (female) and 80 lbs (male). 24" and 25" high.

Female is on the left in both pics and male on the right.

It is astounding that you can put 70+ lbs onto a 6 lbs frame in 6 months - that bone can grow that fast!

Wow. Great dogs. I knew that it hadn't been that long since you first got them. Looking good!

I am getting so jealous of all the 10's

nice looking blades, and even nicer puppies

Nice Tim! Have you had the chance to chop with it?

Puppies are getting big!

Hi PY - How have you been? Did you have a good trip back? It was great to meet you and your wonderful family. Pity we could not spend more time chopping up stuff. BTW, I kept your knife as-is - I like the mods you made. I bought 2 others to mod.

I did chop with the B10 a little today along with the B11, ASH Whacker and the BWMLE. I chose those because they are my favorite Busse Choppers. I need to do a lot more though before I can draw any conclusions.

One thing that I am sure of already is that I am going to ask Garth whether he can replace the handle of one or more of my B11's with the new B10 style handle. The ridges on the B11 handle have always bothered me and I put a bicycle tube over them. The smooth B10 handle feels fantastic and to me, it looks identical in shape to the B11 handle, so I really hope that the tang is similar and that they can make it fit.

Then I am going to ask Jerry if he can make choilless, satin B11s with the new handles, or better yet, an 11 inch ASH Whacker blade with a B10 style handle. :D

Many thanks for the diversity of comparison blades and specific parts of the knives you included in your nicely illustrative photos. Gives us lots of possible reference points. Much appreciated.

Hey Tim - We've been doing great, thanks! Yes, no problem on our way back. It was great meeting you and your crew as well; you truly hare a great bunch.
Are you planning to go to Blade this year? I'm thinking of going myself with other knifenuts from the area.
