I'm currently wearing a Bianchi B21 I bought ~2 decades ago and it is finally starting to wear out.

Before I spend ~$100 on the Safariland website to get another in my size, I thought I would see what people recommend as a similar replacement. My requirements are 1 & 3/4" width, double thickness leather (tan), with the classic western themed stitching (overlapping curve stitches). Quality and durability are important as this is a daily wear belt that will see use in all weather conditions and environments (my current belt has seen everything from combat vessels in the Arabian Gulf, high altitudes and freezing weather hiking CONUS, Death Valley and similar places, off road motorcycle rides everywhere, and everything in between).

I would like to stay around $100 but, I am also willing to pay for quality and durability. My current belt cost me about $2 a year and was money well spent.

Why dont you go check out the 'Sheaths & such' sub-forum and ask if one of the outstanding leather 'smiths' there will make you a belt.

I wore custom tooled and fitted (curved) leather belts for years and still have a bunch of custom belts new and worn on a hook somewhere. I just dont use them anymore.

These days I wear a 5.11 TDU belt, which have been with me from Astan to America and lots of countries in between.

The TDU belt may not be as interesting as a leather belt....but its still the best belt, I ever had bar none.

Wilderness Instructor Belt with stiffener is an excellent GUN, and general purpose, belt.

Best.

Best.

I have multiple Rigger belts including this one and agree they are very good belts, though not for regular normal daily wear.

This belt is 1.5 and it's the best gun belt that I've ever had. I found this review on the belt.

I don't think this is an easy search. I've looked around for low priced leather belts and have not found anything of reasonable quality. IOW going to a major leather manufacturer that you trust and paying top price for exactly what you want is probably not a bad choice. If you hunt around you might find a good leather maker that can make you one for a little less, but it will be hard to save much money and still get what you want.

I have a Bianchi that I've worn the last five eyars and I'm looking for a new one as I've lost some weight and even punching extra holes isn't working.

Galco also makes a nice one and for less common check out Mean Gene leather.
