1/3 inch thick knife

Did yall hear about that 1/3 inch knife thread?? Gee, think about a 1/3 inch thick busse. That would be one of the strongest knives in the world.
 
A three inch thick knife would be stronger. It'd also be cool because the thickness would exceed the width and then you could grind edges on the sides instead of on the bottom. You'd have an East/West dagger. :)
 
Actually some of the chinse rifles had a bayonet that was triple sided. Might have bee able to sharpen all sides.... :eek:
 
Oh yeah, well, a girder made out of INFI would be stronger than all of those.
People, where are going with this?
1/3" Busse would be cool, but don't count on it until it happens.
 
Well there is the 3/8" Off Duty, that is thicker than 1/3", so it does exist.

Jerry, ya' definately did good with the HOFSH. My arms are 1" wider now just from picking this beast up. :eek:

Heavy Ordinance Fusion Steel Heart
The most recent incarnation of the SH was the fusion models, which came in two different thicknesses, the Heavy Ordinance was the thicker of the two. I own one, and it is heavier than any other standard Busse produced, even the Battle Mistresses (AFAIK... As Far As I Know)
And to make things even more confusing, the FSH (Fusion Steel Heart) was offered with two different thickness of handles. Magnum Fusion (thicker) and the Fusion (not as thick)

Don't forget to use both arms equally with that beast, otherwise you'll end up with one regular arm and one "Popeye" arm!!! :eek: :D

im sure it will be custom for a while at least... its a huge knife, and the bigger you get the harder to put into production it becomes.

but then again, we are getting a production run of ak47's..... so theres always hope :D:D

Bigger than the new Battle Mistresses? The pics I've seen... man the new Fusion Battle Mistresses looks flippin huge!
Is this due to the thickness of the HOGFSH? Someone posted pics of the HOGFSH with the Mag Fusion handles here a while back... omg it was the king! If I had the $.... oh to dream!
