1/300 SHBM and FFBM

Just got finished with these two very recently.

The 1/300 is now sporting hand shaped green linen micarta with a polished convex edge.

The FFBM is fully convexed up to the dimpled saber grind and has hand shaped black paper micarta. I always assumed that black paper is pure black but I guess it is not the case. This particular batch has a green tint to it. When sanded down it looks almost like a charcoal black.

Special thanks to Solstice for helping me clean up the dimples with a bead blaster. I had to get all that gunk out of the dimples before blending in the satin.

Oh man....those are looking mighty fine Mr Ban....yes sir!:thumbup:

My favorite is of course the 1/300...green linen and red liners ( looks like red liners)...Sweet Sweet Sweet!!!:cool:

Awesome work man!!! Both the handles look great, but I really like how you contoured the black paper ones.

Painfully sweet!. Those contrasting liners really make the package on the straight handled goodness.

That FFMB also looks sweet.

Dude, I waited about an extra MONTH on those liners......SOOO worth it!!! Really sets it off!
 
Ban, as you know, (I've told you several times now), I think you are just a awesome artist. I love the 1st SHBM that you did for Paul. Its my favorite. I sleep with that mistress EVERY NIGHT:foot: ...BUT this one ROCKS with those liners. WOW!!

I like the red liner.

Did you radius the handle side of the lanyard hole area ?

Helps to fix the Busse Pinky pinch, I do it on some of my users.
