1/4" titanium?

I want to buy some 1/4" titanium plate but I can't find any.
I tried my link for Halpern and the site isn't there anymore. I did a Google search for them and all their links were bad too. Did Halpern go out of business? They sure were a good outfit to do business with!! I even checked Ebay and some of the knife supply folks and came up empty.
I sure would appreciate a link or two guys!!!

Alpha's got some .215-.216 Ti but didn't see any .250.I tried my halpern links and their dead also.

I checked em out and I can't believe it!!!
They have a 12" x 12" sheet of 1/4" ti and the price is $400!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know I've been out of it for along time but daggum, I didn't think it had gotten that crazy!! Now I know why I've been seeing so many knives with g10 and carbon fiber bolsters! :D

I checked their company forum at the 'other' website. There has not been a post since 11/13/10 Weird. I put a post there to see what is up.
 
I just ran a job on 1/4" Ti 6Al 4V, 48" x 144" $15K
Waterjet shapes priceless.
 
Zaph, I'm just looking for some 1/4" thick ti that's at least 2" wide.
The bigger the better as long as it can be shipped reasonably. :D
 
Not sure this applies, but it looks like the titanium plate on the onlinemetals is CP2, not to be confused with 6-4. CP2=Commercially pure.
I have a few sheets of Ti CP2 that are 6x6x.25 I believe that I might be able to part with.
 
Check with Mettal2000 on eBay. One of my best sources for cheaper Ti bits and pieces. He's in Israel, but very affordable on shipping to the US, about the same as local shipping, just takes longer. I just bought fifteen 12" long x 5mm rods of Ti for $20. He's been real good about looking for certain dimensions when I've contacted him.
