The dagger was found Lincolnshire at the grave site of a six foot tall lady-warrior.

If she loses the silly war-cry (and learns to cook), she can "conquer" me any old time.

It is a little known fact that the Lucy Lawless spent part of her early years working in Gold mines in and around Kalgoorlie (part of my stomping ground) working as a cook.

For history fans, a genuine Celtic heroine is soon to be on our telly screens. The seriously, er... watchable Alex Kingston (Dr. Elizabeth Corday in ER) is to play Boudicca in a major 2 hour TV film.

For Alex fans, may I point out that she can be seen to great advantage (ahem...) in an underrated but excellent film, "The Croupier."

I'm certain I could lick her unto surrender. But otherwise suspect it's just another tabloid tail. I did like the part about the "county council archeologist" though.:D

matteo, agreed, minus the "up".

maximus, a celtic heroine pretty much automatically qualifies for my "in love with list", let alone that she's a lovely lady.
