This is a plastic kit from dragon models. I added a few details, painted it and
did a little weathering. I'll get some outside pics. soon.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

That's a really nice job. I used to be into model making when I was younger. This makes me want to start up again.

Very nice I have a German WW1 Battleship sitting in my closet maybe this winter. Like the weathering you did on that tank what brand of paint did you use ?

Thanks, model making is usually a good stress reliever.

I get Home Depot to color match from other pieces I have and get it made in exterior primer in quarts.

Nice work...
I used to build a lot of tank models back in the 80's.
We used to leave them in the garden to 'age' them ;)
Airplanes in the 70's...

Here is a shot of the last survivor

Anyone else?
:D

Bet that saves you some cash good idea haven't done a build in a while have a cat in the house now I will have to find a spot where he won't be able to get at it I especially like the rust effect on your tank it would work really well on a ship .

Doing details like rust, bends, war marks, etc. is half the fun. The Panzer II is a small tank
but in 1/6 scale it's still big so everything is real visable.
Getting plastic, wood, and paper to look like metal puts a smile on my face.

how many hours did you put into that? I was into model tanks and WWII airplanes as a kid, I fell out of them and stupidly blew most of them up with fireworks as a teen....

There's around 8 hours but I keep playing with the weathering. I'll make it into a destroyed hulk before long.

any more pics of other works? It you took a picture of that panzer with the right background, I would have thought it was real

And mcs, dunt destroy that tank!
It'll just look destroyed. A little paint and switching out twisted broken parts
for the good ones and it'll be fresh off the assembly line again.
This tank was a kit from Dragon. I'm just making add on parts to make the kits
into other variants or destroyed background pic. opps.

I have a 1/6 die cast Tiger setting around in storage. It's been a long time since I had time for that stuff.
